Ways to Give

The Tarrant County College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, supporting the students and programs of Tarrant County College. Gifts are tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the maximum amount allowed by law. The TCC Foundation gladly accepts the following gifts.

Cash Gifts & Pledges

Cash, in the form of personal or corporate checks, is the most popular type of charitable gift the Foundation receives.

Please make checks payable to Tarrant County College Foundation and indicate the purpose of your gift on the check or in a cover letter.

Online donations are a secure, fast, and convenient way for you to donate with a credit card.

Pledges provide a longer-term commitment over a designated period of time based upon an agreed upon schedule. Pledges cannot be claimed as a tax deduction until the gift is actually made.

Recurring online gifts allow you to commit to a donation amount that is paid over a set period of time, typically on a monthly basis.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle administered by a public charity, such as a public community foundation or a similar type fund  sponsored by investment companies.

DAF's are created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an individual, family, or organization, and allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then recommend grants from the fund over time to any IRS-qualified public charity (such as the Tarrant County College Foundation).

For your convenience, we have provided the option to recommend a gift from a Fidelity Charitable or Schwab Charitable Donor Advised Fund. If you have questions about recommending gifts via Donor Advised Funds, please contact us at 817-515-5277.

Support Dual Credit Students

In response to the passing of House Bill 8 (HB 8), TCC has committed to educational equity by paying the tuition for all dual credit students. However, there remains a crucial need to cover the cost of their learning materials, which is $150 per student per semester.

Learn how you can help support our dual credit students' education and impact your community. Join us in contributing towards the success of these aspiring dual credit students.

Stocks, Bonds & Mutual Funds

Gifts of appreciated mutual funds, stocks, and certain bonds may enable donors to contribute a larger gift at less cost. Transferring gifts of securities, stocks, and bonds to the Foundation is easy and can provide significant tax benefits through tax deduction as well as elimination of capital gains taxes! Please contact the Foundation to discuss the best method of transferring assets.

Tribute Gifts

A gift, in memory or in honor of a relative, friend, teacher, or student, is a generous and thoughtful way to recognize a person's life and accomplishments.

When you make a tribute gift to the TCC Foundation, we notify the honoree or next of kin, and the gift is used as you specify. Include with your gift a note specifying the honoree's name, as well as the address of the honoree or next of kin.
