Establishing a scholarship through the Tarrant County College Foundation is a meaningful way to support TCC students, strengthen our community, and help transform lives through education. Scholarships remove financial barriers, open doors to opportunity, and empower students to pursue their academic and career goals with confidence.

When you create a scholarship, you are making an investment in the future workforce, leaders, and changemakers of our region.

Named TCC Scholarship

A gift of $6,600 establishes a Named TCC Scholarship, creating a lasting tribute to an individual, family, organization, or cause that is meaningful to you.

The scholarship provides awards for up to three academic years (fall and spring semesters, based on applicable tuition rates). Throughout the three-year spend-down period, additional contributions may be made to the fund, extending its impact and increasing the number of students who benefit from your generosity.

A Named TCC Scholarship offers a powerful and accessible way to make a direct difference in the lives of TCC students while honoring a legacy, celebrating a milestone, or recognizing a valued individual or organization.

Named Endowed TCC Scholarship

A gift of $32,000 establishes a Named Endowed TCC Scholarship, creating a permanent source of support for students and ensuring your generosity continues for generations to come.

Unlike a spend-down scholarship, an endowed fund is invested so that the principal remains intact while a portion of the earnings is used to provide scholarship awards each year. Scholarship distributions are calculated using the TCC Foundation's current spending rate, applied to a three-year rolling average fund balance. The spending rate is reviewed annually by the TCC Foundation Board of Directors to ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of the endowment.

The required gift may be fulfilled through a single contribution or accumulated through pledges and payments over two or more years, providing flexibility while building a lasting legacy of educational opportunity.
